How to get to Shinagawa

The best way to get to Shinagawa is to use the Yamanote Line or the Keihin/Tohoku Line and get off at Shinagawa station. The Tokaido Line Shinkansen also stops at Shinagawa.

The nearest underground station to Shinagawa Station is Sengakuji (A07 Asakusa Line).

Sengakuji Temple

The Sengakuji Temple in Shinagawa is a historical and sacred site dating back to the 17th century. This Buddhist temple is famous for being the final resting place of the famous 47 Akō samurai, who are buried here.
