What to do in Ikebukuro
Ikebukuro is located in the northwest part of the Yamanote Line, north of Shinjuku. To the west of the station is the cultural part, while to the east is the colourful Sunshine 60 Street. Ikebukuro is the name of the main station in the Toshima district.

How to get to Ikebukuro
To get to Ikebukuro you can use the train and underground.
By train you can use the JR Yamanote Line or the JR Saikyo Line from Shinjuku and Shibuya.
The underground lines that pass through Ikebukuro are the Fukutoshin Line (F09 Ikebukuro – Tokyo Metro), the Yurakucho Line (Y09 Ikebukuro – Tokyo Metro) and the Marunouchi Line (25 Ikebukuro – Tokyo Metro)
