Tokyo Monorail

The Tokyo Monorail connects Haneda Airport to the Hamamatsucho stop (along the Yamanote Line). It was built in 1964 for the Tokyo Olympics. The Tokyo Monorail is 17.8 km long and has 11 stops. The ticket from Hamamatsucho to the airport costs 520 yen. On the Tokyo Monorail you can use the Japan Rail Pass. There is a special ticket at a cost of 540 Yen, which can only be purchased on weekends and public holidays and other fixed days, which allows you to use the monorail as far as Hamamatsucho and then continue to any of the stops on the Yamanote Line.
